OdOptic
Management software for opticians: the shop website, pair-by-pair stock, sales including lenses, compliant invoices and customer records, in one tool that works at the counter and on a phone.
The problem
An optical shop keeps its catalogue, its stock and its diary in three places that do not talk to each other (a spreadsheet, a notebook, a phone) and answers the same questions about available frames and accepted health plans all day long.
The outcome
Website, stock, sales, invoicing and customer records working. Available now, first shop being set up.
The context
An independent optical shop sells a product people look at before they buy. Customers want to know what is on display, at what price, in which frame and under which coverage, and they ask those questions by phone, at the counter, or on social media, one at a time, all day long.
Behind the counter the information exists, but it is scattered: a spreadsheet for references, a notebook for appointments, the team’s memory for the health plans the shop works with. None of it is publishable as it stands, and nothing maintained twice stays consistent for long.
What the software carries
- The shop’s own website, in its name and colours: frame catalogue with filters, dated offers, opening hours and announced closures, pages Google can read, WhatsApp button
- Appointments booked online by customers, landing in the shop’s screen for the day
- Stock, pair by pair: every pair has its status (in stock, reserved, sold, written off), its purchase price and its history; nothing disappears without a reason
- A sale in a single window: frame, lenses, other lines, deposit at order and balance collected when the glasses are handed over
- Invoices numbered with no gaps, VAT by rate, full legal mentions, credit notes and a monthly report, as a spreadsheet the accountant opens in Excel
- One record per customer: purchases, appointments, and prescriptions, protected as Moroccan law 09-08 requires
The heart of the product: the optician does not maintain software and a website. They run their shop, and the website follows from it. Everything is written in plain French, designed for the counter, and works on a computer, a tablet or a phone.
What is included
Your catalogue and your prices belong to you alone. No other shop, no competitor, has access to what you enter.
Hosting, backups and updates are included in the subscription. No separate infrastructure bill, no technical account to open elsewhere, no software to install on the shop’s machines.
Go-live and training are included. We bring across your existing catalogue, we train the team on their own tool, and we stay reachable afterwards.
Where the product stands
The website, stock, sales, invoicing and customer records are working. Prescription entry opens once each shop has its authorisation from the CNDP. The software is available now for other shops, and the first one is being set up.
