GIS / Ports
Port GIS portal
A geographic information system and a trilingual touchscreen kiosk for a port site: interactive mapping, venue management, bookings and a role-based back office, kept up to date by the operators themselves.
Door 2 · Engineering teams
We join existing teams on business applications: database design, APIs, role-based back offices, mapping, internationalisation. Time and materials or fixed price, remote, on a time zone that lines up with European teams. We deliver code that is documented and deployed, and we say what is wrong rather than what is reassuring.
Capabilities
How we work
You get a Git repository with a history you can read, a start-up procedure that works first time, and documented environment variables.
Cross-account access checks, session handling, secrets kept out of the repository. Vulnerabilities we find are written down and fixed, not quietly left.
A feature is only called done once it has been exercised under real conditions. A passing test is not proof of delivery.
Written reports, technical decisions with the reasoning attached, availability on your channels (Slack, Teams, Jira).
